Jury Verdict Reporter of Colorado – September 3, 2012

“The power of the rich to take advantage of the working class MUST be challenged.  Bob Harms, a small Harley Davidson shop owner, built a custom made motorcycle for Ron Meiss, a retired insurance company executive.  Meiss owed $20,000.00 to Harmes to complete the handmade motorcycle.  Harms held the $100,000.00 motorcycle until Meiss paid.  Meiss hired a former governor’s law firm to take  the motorcycle and sue for fraud, which would have forced the mechanic into bankruptcy.  The trial resulted in the following article in the Jury Verdict Reporter of Colorado:
